Music Event - Scream Lounge
We were thrilled to be performing again at Scream Lounge, on Friday 12 December 2014, and hope to build upon this relationship so that our students can experience regular music-making in a professional environment.
Those who performed should be extremely proud of themselves; they all demonstrated maturity, musicality and, above all, real professionalism.
The Music Department believe in developing partnerships within the community and we plan to work closely with creative and community partners over the coming year, so that our students can fully appreciate the value that music has in the world. Charitable events and performances which celebrate diversity are being planned.
Thank you to all who came out to support the students. We hope that you enjoyed your evening with us and look forward to seeing more students getting involved and an even bigger crowd at our next event. Happy Holidays and very best wishes for 2015. Mr D. Watters (Head of Music, Edenham High School)
Year 8 French Trip to Arras
The Year 8 day trip to the Wellington Quarry and Christmas Market in the French town of Arras on Friday was an absolute hit with pupils. After donning replica tin helmets, pupils ventured over 20 meters underground to have a guided tour around the tunnels where allied troops spent their days preparing for the Battle of Arras in 1917. The next stop was the Christmas Market in the beautiful town square where pupils had a chance to put their language skills to good use whilst they purchased some Christmas gifts and sampled sweet treats from the popular crêpe & waffle stall. With the last few pennies spent on the ferry back to Dover, we arrived back at Edenham tired but full of great memories. Mrs Edwards

Show My Homework
We are pleased to announce that we are now running Show My Homework at Edenham. This system allows all teachers to upload homework onto the online platform so that students and parents can access it through the online calendar. There is a link to this on the tabs to the left. Students and parents can also login to look at specific homework set for that child. Parents of more than one student at Edenham can combine accounts together for ease of use.
The system allows us to send home all letters, bulletins and important information to registered users. Students can see a countdown to all the homework set for their classes and parents can see whether or not it was submitted and potentially what grade was achieved for the work.
Show My Homework is now fully functioning at Edenham, please ensure you are logging in to check homework that has been set.
Students have now all received their login details for themselves and for their parent/carers. If you did not receive your information or are having trouble logging in please contact your son/daughters current Head of Progress Team who will be happy to assist you. For Head of Progress contact emails, please click on contact us, teacher emails.
