Show My Homework

We are pleased to announce that we are now running Show My Homework at Edenham. This system allows all teachers to upload homework onto the online platform so that students and parents can access it through the online calendar. There is a link to this on the tabs to the left. Students and parents can also login to look at specific homework set for that child. Parents of more than one student at Edenham can combine accounts together for ease of use.

The system allows us to send home all letter, bulletins and important information to registered users. Students can see a countdown to all the homework set for their classes and parents can see whether or not it was submitted and potentially what grade was achieved for the work.

We are currently running Show My Homework as a trial for this half term to see all the things it can do. Already many of our staff and students are using it. It will be fully functioning in September when all homework for every class will be posted online. By then a free phone app will also be available for all users.

Students were given login details for themselves and parent/carers on the last day of last half term. If you did not receive that information please contact gturner@edenham.net

Maths, Science and Technology Challenge Day

Edenham High School was invited to participate in the Croydon Science and Technology Challenge Day. The event took place at John Ruskin College on 01 July 2014.
Challenge Days have been running for several years and have involved schools from across the U.K. Twelve students from year 9 were selected for this day and the students were required to work in mixed school teams, on three practical applied sciences, mathematical and technology-related challenges.
Our students rose to the challenge, actively taking part and successfully completing all of the challenges in their teams. To top of a fantastic day, two of our students, David Brachio-Clark and Ishmahaan Abukar were a part of the overall winning team that will be given the opportunity to represent Croydon when competing in the regional Challenge Finals that will be held later in the year.
